Yes, Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ treats are safe to feed daily, when accompanied by your pet’s nutritionally complete and balanced diet.
Are there artificial flavors in Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ wet food for dogs?
No, our wet food for dogs is a natural food with added vitamins, minerals & other nutrients. We do not add artificial flavors.

Are your products distributed outside of the United States?
At this point, Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ is only sold in the United States. If you have purchased or seen Nutrish® products outside of the United States, please contact us at (800) 323-7738 or email us using our Contact Us form so we can investigate the issue.

Can I feed Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dry food for cats to my kitten?
Yes, you may feed Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dry food for cats to kittens since many Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ cat food recipes are formulated to meet the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) nutrient profiles for all life stages of a cat. Check the feeding instructions on the bag to determine whether the product is an “all life stages” recipe or an “adult maintenance” recipe. “All life stages” recipes will include instructions for when and how you should feed kittens and how to adjust feeding levels as your kitten grows. As always, don’t forget to see your vet regularly.
Can I give Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dog treats to my puppy?
Yes, you can give Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dog treats to your puppy. We recommend breaking into smaller pieces for puppies. As always, please watch your dog to ensure the treats are thoroughly chewed before swallowing.
Can I moisten Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dry food for cats?
Yes, you may moisten Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ Dry Food For Cats. To feed moistened, mix 1/4 cup of water to 2 cups of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™.
How do I switch my cat from their regular food to Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ dry food for cats?
It’s easy to transition your cat to Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food. Slowly mix Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food with their other food over a five to ten day period until your cat is solely eating Rachael Ray® Nutrish™. Once your cat is only eating Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food, continue to consult the feeding guidelines on the bag.

How much food should I feed my pet?
Feeding guidelines for our Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ products can be found on the product label. We always suggest checking with your veterinarian for the best feeding advice for your dog’s or cat’s specific dietary needs.
How much from each bag of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ goes to charity?
Because of fluctuating ingredient costs and other aspects of the manufacturing process that are constantly changing, there is no set amount from each sale of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ that we can say “goes to charity”. However, we can confirm that a portion of proceeds from each sale of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ is donated to Rachael Ray Foundation™, which helps animals in need. Between 2019 and 2023, more than $7 million a year has been donated to animal charities and other organizations that do good for animals through The Rachael Ray Foundation and its predecessor entity.

Through February, more than $56 million have been donated to animal charities and other organizations that do good for animals through The Rachael Ray Foundation™ and its predecessor entity. The funds are used for care, medical supplies, treatments and more.

After opening Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ wet cat food pouches, simply cover the pouch opening and put it in the refrigerator. You can store for up to 3 days after initial opening.

How should I store Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ wet food for dogs to maintain freshness?
To maintain the freshness of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ wet food, simply use the resealable lid and refrigerate the wet food for dogs after opening. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after initial opening.
How should I transition my dog to Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food?
It’s easy to transition your dog to Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food. Slowly mix Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food with their other food over a five-to-ten-day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food. Once your dog is only eating Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ food, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are just a guide. Your dog’s individual needs will vary based upon his/her size, activity level and even age. However, be sure not to overfeed your dog because overfeeding is a common source of digestive upset. Be sure to check your dog’s weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight. And don’t forget to see your vet regularly.

What is The Rachael Ray Foundation™?
The Rachael Ray Foundation™ is a private foundation fully funded by the proceeds from the sale of Rachael Ray® Nutrish™. The Foundation was launched to help Rachael better support the causes she cares for most such as helping animals in need. Every year, millions of animals enter shelters throughout the U.S. in need of essential care and forever homes. RRF funds organizations across the country who work to improve the lives of shelter animals and other animals in need. In addition, the Foundation makes funds available for emergency situations and disaster relief efforts where help for animals is urgently needed. Why did Rachael Ray® decide to get into the pet food business?
It was important to Rachael that Isaboo, her beloved dog, ate as well as the rest of her family, but Rachael had a difficult time finding a food that combined good taste and nutrition. That’s why Rachael teamed up with Ainsworth Pet Nutrition to develop Rachael Ray® Nutrish™. She also made sure that a portion of proceeds from each sale of Nutrish is donated to Rachael Ray Foundation™ which helps animals in need.
Why does Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ offer grain-free dog food?
Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ offers dog foods with the same great nutrition and carefully selected ingredients but formulated without grain ingredients, for those pet parents who seek to avoid grain.
Why is there so much liquid in the cup?
Cats crave moisture, the moisture level in our wet cat food was determined to be the optimal level for cat acceptance and enjoyment through a variety of feeding studies.
